Intro:
Getting your business in the Cloud can seem complex for Small Businesses – especially when we are our own IT Experts! As always it’s a good idea to save yourself some time (and money) to outsource to an expert who knows their stuff and can explain in simple terms (not website gobbledygook) what cloud based servers are and how they hold, protect and restore our data.
We need to consider that the quantity data and information we store online is increasing. Companies like Google, Dropbox and Microsoft know this and depend on the increasing amounts of data we need to store. How many of you out there are paying the annual subscription fee to these companies because you’ve maxed out?
The data could be part of our website or the actual client & business data you might have stored in the Cloud and many of us don’t know how much is there, let alone where its currently being stored. Plus, there’s the whole question of security and the privacy regulations all businesses have to adhere to.
Well that’s why we’ve got an expert talking to us today; Gavin Vermaas from RightServ who is an expert in his field of Cloud based servers.
We’ll be chatting about:
- Small Business needs IT now more than ever
- Your It presence can be much larger than your business size – why its important to have an online presence across numerous fields
- The path over last ten years to Cloud
- What are cloud services
- Public Cloud vs Cloud providers
- Benefits in terms of reduced cost, hassle and increased exposure
